Villa Kavallaris & Apartments

This place has just reopened this summer after being shut for a 2 year period. We were lucky enough to get it at an excellent price. The son and his fiance have worked hard on renovations and the pool area is magic. The rooms are very big and although basic they still have a fridge and tea making facilities. We had a lovely room with it's own outdoor area overlooking the sea in the distance. It is a very short walk into the town with a supermarket, bakery, chemist, scooter rental and great restaurants with typical Greek food etc. The bus stops for all of Santorini are also very close by. They are an excellent cheap way of getting around the island if you don't want to drive yourself. If you do drive there is plenty of parking at the hotel. Ella and Akiss our hosts couldn't do…... ++

Clean pool, rooms with enough space, nice little balcony, amazing host (she was so kind and had loads of great recommendations!). We rented a scooter via the pension and since it is located in the middle of the island, it took us maximum 15-20 minutes to drive to all the different touristic spots. Very convenient! Also, the bus-stops are in the same street. You are in Fira within 5-10 minutes from there. Oh and the restaurant 'Mike' (which is 5 min by foot from the pension) has great and cheap gyros!... ++

Lovely hotel and amazing pool - room was spacious and our balcony was ideal for a drink in the evening. Found the location a little tricky at first bu booked a quad bike through the hotel (reception staff extremely helpful!!) and made our way around the island, made our stay 10/10!... ++
